A story of conservation & community enrichment

Charlie’s short film, Sitatunga, highlights the conservation story surrounding the world’s only amphibious antelope: the sitatunga. Thought to be extinct in Ghana for over 50 years, the antelope’s rediscovery in the Avu Lagoon 21 years ago, sparked a conservation initiative in the region. Through rare drone footage of the sitatunga and interviews with rangers aiming to protect them, Charlie’s short film tells the story of conservation not only helping protect the sitatunga, but also uplifting the local community.
